Rimma Kyselytsia, Chernobyl guide extraordinaire, gazes thoughtfully at the surroundings.

This photo was taken on November 9, 2005. Rimma died of a stroke on March 19, 2006. I will deeply miss her intelligent, informed and humorous company. Wormwood Forest would have been a very different book without her help and insight.
