Animals

The radioactive animals of Chernobyl were difficult for an amateur like me to photograph, especially when I was often doing four things at once: taking notes, checking radiation levels, turning my digital recorder on and off and peering through my binoculars to see whatever creatures my guides were pointing at. Often, I didn’t see them until they ran away and it was too late to take a picture.
